AGRIM Singh says his venture into whisky collecting was all because he was at the right place at the right time.
Singh, a hacker-in-residence with a bank, recalls seeing tickets on sale for homegrown whisky showcase, Whisky Live, back in 2013. He went with a friend, where they were handed whisky glasses, and they went around sampling whiskies from all over the world.
"There were many exhibitors and they were all so willing to impart their knowledge," recalls Singh, who was then 20.
