    THE Singapore Sports Hub opened its doors in June 2014 and, as it celebrates its fourth birthday this year, the Kallang facility now plays host to some 200 events - both big and small - annually.

    Rugby is a constant feature at the 55,000-seater National Stadium. The HSBC Rugby Sevens was staged at the end of April as Fiji defeated Australia in the final. Just last weekend, the Sunwolves beat the Bulls to earn their first Super Rugby victory in Singapore. Later this month, three top European football clubs - Arsenal, Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain - will grace the International Champions Cup (ICC) tournament.

    In conjunction with the ongoing 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia, there is a seven-week Festival of Football at the open-air OCBC Square. Tens of thousands of people have turned up to watch the 'live' matches on a giant screen.
