Everton squeaks past Stoke to reach Barclays final

SINGAPORE experienced English Premier League (EPL) fever on Wednesday as three of the league's 20 football teams strutted their stuff on the first day of the Barclays Asia Trophy tournament at the Singapore Sports Hub.
In the first of two matches at the National Stadium, Everton, boasting the likes of goalkeeper Tim Howard, midfielder Tom Cleverley and striker Romelu Lukaku in their squad, needed to rely on a penalty shootout to get the better of Stoke City.
