Film and dining experience Night of the Living Scuff, makes a return for the new year. The unique outdoor cinema event is organised by SCUM (Society for Cult & Underground Movies) and held at Chye Seng Huat Hardware. Showing on the big screen under the stars is Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, the 1989 sci-fi bro-mance comedy that shot Keanu Reeves to fame. Written by Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon - by hand and on paper in just four days at coffee shops - it brought surfer lingo into the mainstream and spawned the sequel Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey two years later. Three decades later, a third chapter titled Bill & Ted Face the Music is set to go into production this month for a 2020 release so there's no better time to revisit the original that started it all.
