With facilities shut, golf clubs making goodwill gestures to members
Subscription fees waived for a month, complimentary vouchers offered; other sports clubs should follow suit too.
WITH golf clubs closing all facilities for four weeks until May 4 due to the government's circuit-breaker measures to contain the spread of Covid-19, some clubs have already made goodwill gestures to their members.
Sembawang Golf Club and National Service Resort and Country Club (Changi and Kranji Sanctuary) have taken the lead in informing their respective members that subscription fees will be waived for a month because of the temporary closure of the courses and dining outlets.
Sentosa Golf Club informed its members that each of them will be offered a weekday guest complimentary voucher in lieu for the month.
