DOING up a new home, or sprucing up an old one, can be as exciting as it is stressful. Get the right designer, contractor and furniture and your dream home awaits. But throw in delays, shoddy workmanship or disappearing contractors, and that dream becomes a nightmare.
Horror stories are more a norm than an exception, which spurred several startups helmed by entrepreneurs with either personal experience or are familiar with such woes, to do something about it. With technology such as artificial intelligence and virtual reality, they’re offering clients a way to take charge of their home works.
