No Christmas meal should be without a turkey, but you could do things a little differently by lending a local touch to your celebratory table centrepiece. The new Masak Merah Roasted Turkey (S$198) is executive chef Eric Cheam's Asian twist to the Christmas classic. The turkey is infused with a spicy tomato sauce for 48 hours before being slow-roasted for almost three hours. Enjoy the flavoursome meat with satisfying tomato fried rice, sautéed brussels sprouts with piquant sambal hijau (green chilli) and golden begedil (fried potato patty).
Meanwhile, traditionalists can deck their table with the Oven-Roasted Turkey (S$188), accompanied by apple and chestnut stuffing, roasted potatoes, festive vegetables, cranberry sauce and giblet gravy.
