Fleshing out a superhero

GIVEN the overwhelming success of action hero show Marvel's Daredevil on independent network Netflix, you would think Charlie Cox would have a little more confidence going into Season 2.

But that isn't the case. "When Season 1 came out, I was thrilled at the response but I was equally nervous about being able to recreate it, about how we were going to do it again," says the 33-year-old actor who was in Singapore earlier this week to promote Season 2 of the show.

"From an acting point of view, you do a movie and it comes out a year later, and the reviews come out a year later. So by then, you've done something else; you have something else you're invested in and thinking about. So obviously you care how the movie does but there's a detachment," he shares.
