Flying Monkey still flying high

The Indian tapas bar has been adapting during the pandemic, offering an extensive menu of gins, creative cocktails and a wide range of bites

    THE pandemic may have stalled some plans for Flying Monkey, but it hasn't quite clipped the wings of the Indian tapas bar, which is working on its next menu.

    Before Covid-19, the plan had been to open a gin garden on the second floor of the Bussorah Street shophouse, above the main dining area, says bartender Kannan Pillai.

    This would be in line with Flying Monkey's extensive list of gins from near and far, with "some gins that you might not see elsewhere" - including some from India. After all, the gin and tonic was invented there, he quips.
