TO me, physical and mental wellbeing are two sides of the same coin, and play equally important roles in helping me to do my job.
I believe my job requires a "whole person" commitment. To do my job well, I need to invest all the attention, presence, intellect and discernment I can muster, every day. When I feel good physically and mentally, I can bring the best of myself to the organisation that I lead and the people with whom I meet.
I don't have a "fitness" routine. Instead, I have a "wellness" routine. Yes, this routine involves regular exercise, but it also includes growing a deeper relationship with God, spending time with my family, and pursuing activities to help my mind to stay sharp and attentive (I love crosswords!).
