    THE MID-AUTUMN FESTIVAL WILL SOON be upon us, and Raffles Hotel has once again curated its much-awaited collection of classic and new mooncake treats that make exquisite gifts for friends and business associates, or just for your own family’s enjoyment.

    Expertly handcrafted by Raffles master chefs every year, the selection of mooncakes is available for purchase from now till Sep 29. Look forward to both traditional and contemporary mooncakes beautifully presented in an elegant box depicting Raffles Hotel Singapore’s illustrious heritage.

    The delicate treats are encased in a premium cream-pearl box, adorned with intricate illustrations of the hotel’s iconic façade. The attractive packaging can be reused even after the festivities are over and the goodies have been enjoyed.

    New flavours

    This year, look forward to two new snow-skin creations: Sakura & Raspberry Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake and Yam & Coconut Rum Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake.

    Inspired by the well-loved Sakura Sling from the hotel’s legendary Long Bar is the blushing pink Sakura & Raspberry Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake. This snow-skin gem incorporates the delicate flavours of fresh raspberries perfumed with floral notes of cherry blossoms. For the ultimate enjoyment, complement the mooncake with a soothing cup of Raffles blended tea.

    Those who like tropical flavours can revel in the newly launched Yam & Coconut Rum Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake – this is a contemporary rendition of the traditional Teochew mooncake which typically features yam. It’s also an excellent choice for those who like a mildly boozy aftertaste. Savour the sweet notes of rum that elevates the combination of rich, creamy coconut coated with white chocolate.     Making a return this season are two popular flavours: Baileys Chocolate Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake and the Yuzu and Osmanthus Truffle Snow-Skin Mooncake. The former is encased with a blend of aromatic Arabica Coffee and premium cocoa, and blended with decadent Irish cream. The latter is a light and refreshing treat redolent of fragrant osmanthus tea leaves which balance perfectly with the subtly tart and fruity flavour of yuzu.
