CHEFS Marco Guccio of Zafferano and Theo Penati from the one Michelin-stared Pierino Penati Restaurant in Vigano, Italy, couldn't be more similar.
Both chefs fell in love with the kitchen from an early age, through the influence of family members. Chef Guccio's grandmother and mother initiated him into the delights of Southern Italian cooking. Chef Penati, meanwhile, found his passion helping out in his father's restaurant, and asked for a position in the kitchen.
For four days only, the two chefs will collaborate on a special menu as part of Citibank's monthly $100Gourmet programme.
