Dark Humour
Ice cream gets cynical with the latest treats to hit town, thanks to Los Angeles soft-serve brand Little Damage which does not subscribe to the conventional rules of bright, happy coloured desserts. It made its name with Insta-worthy black charcoal cones and midnight-hued swirls of coffee caramel ice cream. With its first outlet outside of the USA, check out the creations of owner Jenny Damage (hence the name) that include bright blue Unicorn Tears ice cream and pristine White Chocolate. True to its LA origins, there are vegan options made from soy or nut milk. The self-described 'psycho but cute' ice cream shop features skull and gothic design accents, with matching charcoal-coloured knick-knacks for sale. As a nod to National Day, it will serve red waffle cones from Aug 5 to 11.
Little Damage is located at B1-05A Wheelock Place.
