Festive Spice
Who needs cranberry sauce when you can get the exotic twist of Indian spices in the Song of India's Christmas capon? The one Michelin-starred restaurant offers a whole Tandoori Capon stuffed with Morel Briyani ($68) - a much more manageable size than a regular turkey. The large chicken has been marinated with yoghurt and spices before being cooked in a tandoori oven. While the meat is tasty enough, the real star is the briyani rice, studded with tender morel mushrooms, amped up with a tangy yoghurt sauce and tomato-based gravy.
