After 16 years at Liang Court, fans of Japanese supermarket Meidi-Ya can get their fix at its second outlet in Great World City. The new space is smaller than its flagship, but it offers a wider range of Japan-imported products, with larger sections dedicated to health foods such as miso, Japanese tofu and organic natto. Meidi-Ya is also the exclusive importer of Dassai sake in Singapore, getting its bottles direct from the brewery in Yamaguchi. Its Great World City outlet also has a larger range of Dassai sake, including the sparkling versions. Other items exclusive to the Great World City branch include a range of seasonal sorbets that come in tomato, pear and mango flavours. Check out the food court outside, which houses Singapore's first Sapporo Nishiyama ramen stall, and confectionery from Hokkaido dairy farm Machimura.

Meidi-Ya is at Great World City, #B2-120.
