The modern Thai restaurant lends some shine to its Jalan Besar neighbourhood

    WHETHER it’s cooked by a pure Thai, part-Thai or non-Thai, getting good Thai food in Singapore has always been the luck of the draw. And so far, our luck hasn’t been great. Then again, it’s always easy to knock authenticity if you insist on discerning the intrinsic notes of klong and lemongrass in every plate of aspiring Bangkok delicacy.
