Singapore’s multicultural cuisine a rising treat in Vietnam
[HO CHI MINH CITY] Hainanese chicken rice in a bun, chendol ice-cream and begedil, or fried potato patties – these familiar Singaporean flavours have in the past year made strides into the stomachs of curious Vietnamese consumers.
These products aren’t found in restaurants though, and have instead been making their way into the frozen food section of local supermarkets – ready to be thawed and consumed at home.
