Plum & Toro is a new Japanese-inspired cocktail bar that plays on plum wine and fatty tuna as the basis for its menu. It sits right beside the new-ish Sushi Ishi at the Intercontinental Robertson Quay in a cosy, spacious chill-out space. You can sit at the bar proper and sip on plum wine or sake-based cocktails, or trendy high balls, or go further in where a proper kappo-style dining set-up awaits. Dig into modern bites such as the quirkily-named uni corn - corn tempura coated in creamy sea urchin sauce; sashimi done carpaccio style or grilled lobster in a spicy cream sauce. If you're still hungry, pop into sister outlet Sushi Ishi for its popular chirashisushi or nigiri set.
