Smells like Brown Spirit

Proof & Company is holding its first Whiskey Weekend, a two-day event that brings together Singapore's finest American whiskey brands, four world-renowned American cocktail bars and food prepared by Singapore-based American chefs. Sip on inventive cocktails from 28 HongKong Street, Employees Only, Manhattan & Skinny's Lounge; and tuck into American food such as hamburgers by Travis Masiero of Blue Label Burgers. Check out the fine and rare whiskey tastings, as well as master classes. There's also a selection of spirits, cocktail books and professional bar tools on sale for the DIY-inclined. Whiskey Weekend Singapore takes place on May 20 and 21, from 3pm till late, at The Great Escape, 6001 Beach Road, #05-00.
