Jazz and Chinese food add up to a unique recipe for a special night out when VLV - a plush Chinese restaurant and club lounge in Clarke Quay - kicks off its new Soul Lounge jazz programme on Valentine's Day and subsequently every Tuesday to Thursday. VLV takes its cue from the live jazz venue Blue Note Tokyo in Alyssa and Park Chinois in London's Mayfair to create an upscale mix of fine Cantonese cuisine and top jazz talents in chic, heritage surroundings. Whether you're into swing, soul, jazz or world music, the all-star VLV jazz ensemble is able to oblige, thanks to its young local talents, including Sean Hong on sax, Audrey Tengkey on keys and Kenji Nakano on double bass.

VLV's all-star jazz band performs from 9.30pm to 11.30pm. Admission costs S$15
