Top Chef
Stephanie LeQuellec, of the one Michelin-starred restaurant La Scene in Paris, is one of France's few acclaimed female chefs. Having cooked for president Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte not once but twice, she will soon be in town to show off her skills when she teams up with chef Benjamin Halat for the next instalment of Resorts World Sentosa's Art at Curate dining series.
The 36-year-old chef decided on her career path at the age of 14 and her earliest professional gig was at the famed Le Cinq. At 28, she beat fierce competition to win top place in France's "Top Chef" in 2011. She went on to head La Scene in 2013, and guided it to a Michelin star in 2014, when she was 32.
Her trademark is classical French cuisine with a modern touch, so expect dishes such as Salmon with Celeriac, Buckwheat and Vanilla or Raw Marinated Tuna with Smoked Eggplant Veloute and Fresh Herb Sherbet.
