Room for More isn't an ad for a fertility campaign. It's more like Italian restaurateur Beppe de Vito's way of saying that one can never have too many F&B establishments. Hence, Room for More - a new bar he's opened that aims to make whisky drinking more fun and accessible. It takes up a contemporary space in the same building in Dempsey as casual French bistro Atout, which takes up the first two floors. The whisky bar is on the third floor, and offers a whirlwind tour of drams from countries including Scotland, France, India, Japan and Switzerland. Check out also its unusual collection including Mackmyra Vit Hund from Sweden and Hammer Head 23 Years 1989 from Czechoslovakia that dates back to the Cold War era. It also offers a curated list of very old vintages - including Glenlivet 1968 and Glenfarclas 40-Year-Old. Prices are deliberately kept down - most of its pours start from S$10 Room for a 30ml shot, and 60ml double pours from S$18. Selected whiskies are also available at happy-hour prices (Mondays to Thursdays, 3pm-7pm), such as the Yamazaki Distillery Reserve (from S$18 a shot) and Macallan 12 Years Old Double Cask (from S$16 a shot). Add some bar bites and the ubiquitous cigar, and you've got a new room to hang out in, and a whole lot more.

Room for More is at 40C Harding Road.
