FARM-to-table cooking doesn’t have to take place in a restaurant, as a growing breed of home farmers are proving. From balcony gardens to mini farms on carpark rooftops, an ever-growing breed of urban farmers are reaping green harvests for dinner at home almost every night. And some of them have become so good at it that their produce has even taken part in or won awards at the annual Singapore Garden Festival’s competition for homegrown edibles.

In tomorrow’s issue of BTLifestyle, we visit the gardens of serious urban farmers to see the fruits of their efforts and how growing one’s own food is gaining in popularity. Meanwhile in the Arts, check out 5 exhibitions that are a feast for the eyes, including the National Gallery’s first major sculptures show and Ming Wong’s Wayang Spaceship at the Singapore Art Museum. And in Dining, we head out to Nobu to check out its mod-Japanese cuisine.
