HISTORY burst into life and threw itself upon the face of the Fullerton Hotel, as Singapore's pivotal events were narrated with an eight-minute display of sound and visuals.

At a media preview on Friday night, brightly lit stamps referencing the hotel's prior status as the Singapore General Post Office shimmered across its facade. They chronicled Singapore's formative years, such as the early political rallies and the country's transformation into a garden city, culminating in a giant birthday cake commemorating its Golden Jubilee.
