WHEN a band makes its entrance bouncing onto the stage to the introduction of The Lion King's Circle Of Life, all the while wearing animal masks, with one of them carrying a balloon animal and holding it out above the crowd, you know you're in for a pretty fun show.

That was precisely what DNCE, the four-member dance-pop band fronted by Joe Jonas of Jonas Brothers fame, gave on Tuesday during its first-ever concert in Singapore: a campy, flamboyant performance that teemed with youthful exuberance from start to end.

But would you expect any less from a band whose top singles boast kooky titles like Toothbrush and Cake by the Ocean?
