IF IT is time for a furniture reboot at home, why not look local with homegrown brands such as KERNEL, ipse ipsa ipsum and Hyphenate Holdings?
They are among 30 brands which are introducing new furniture collections under the Design Innovation Programme (DIP) of the Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC).
Mark Yong, chairman, design development and immediate past president of SFIC, says: “The primary objective of the programme is to incentivise collaborations between local manufacturers and designers to design, produce and launch commercially viable products suited for urban living, to markets around the world.”
