Richard Mille's technically complex watches are often touted as "racing machines for the wrists" by watch aficionados so it should come as no surprise that a decade-long partnership with British super car makers McLaren was forged last year.

After all, both companies share a mutual interest in unique design, the use of new material and modern craftsmanship. Their first jointly-commissioned timepiece, the RM 11-03 McLaren Automatic Flyback Chronograph, was unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show earlier this year.

Limited to just 500 pieces globally, the watch will be offered to McLaren Ultimate Series customers exclusively through Richard Mille Boutiques, where they will also have the opportunity to match their edition number of 1 to 500 of their McLaren Ultimate Series to the caseback number of their RM 11-03 McLaren.
