Craft purveyor, The General Company, and The Balvenie, the world's most handcrafted whisky, have teamed up for a series of pop-up events to celebrate the spirit of craft. The Balvenie House of Craft offers workshops, supper club dinners, film screenings and community talks. The craftsmen taking part include marquage painter Cherin Sim, hand-lettering artist Ewe Jin Tee, and floral artist Josephine Lau. The idea is for these young craftsmen to show the public what they do and why they do it. Plus, it's good fun for visitors, who can also take part in their workshops. There will also be an open bar featuring cocktails made with The Balvenie, as well as complimentary whisky tastings and supper club dinners featuring young local chefs.
The Balvenie House of Craft is open every Friday to Sunday in September, at 115 King George's Avenue, 01-01, from 7pm to 11pm on Fridays, 12pm to 11pm on Saturdays and 12pm to 5pm on Sundays. Sign up for workshops and dinners at houseofcraft.sg.
