Giving time more important than donating money: Chuan-Jin

Minister says "the key really is our involvement" in giving back to society

    IT is more important to give time to worthy causes than money, says Minister for Social and Family Development Tan Chuan-Jin.

    "We're all very familiar with donating money. It's a very common form of giving back (to society)," Mr Tan said on Friday at an awards presentation ceremony.
