Happy Rum Day

After National Day comes National Rum Day on Aug 16, and Bacardi is ever-ready to celebrate with its new premium trueaged rums. Singapore is the first country in the region to launch this collection of dark rum, which comprises Bacardi Anejo Cuatro (four years old), Bacardi Reserva Ocho (eight years old) and Bacardi Gran Reserva Diez (10 years old). Bacardi's premium aged rums are made using quality molasses from Fiji and Mexico, purified water from Puerto Rico, and an isolated yeast strain, before being aged under the Carribean sun. The warm tropical climates accelerate the ageing process, yet the rums boast a similar level of depth and character as a whisky that is aged twice or three times as long.
