THE Illumi Run may officially be labelled as a sports event, but for most of the 10,000-plus people taking part on Nov 28, it will be an evening to let their hair down and boogie the night away.

This will be the third time that this run has been held here. And if the first two editions are any indication, the F1 Village in Marina Bay will once again be transformed into a sea of bright colours as runners get splashed with neon glow-in-the-dark paint throughout the 5km route.

The bulk of the participants are in their teens. After they navigate their way through all the different themed music zones, they will gather at a large party zone where local and international DJs will play the latest dance tracks as they dance into the night.
