It's Team SunMoon's day

TEAM SunMoon reminded us why they were league champions from 2012 to 2014, after a classy display during the third round of this year's BT Corporate League at Jurong Country Club on July 29. Scoring 113 stableford points to win top team of the round on countback over Bank of Singapore (OCBC), their total score of 327 is 11 points more than defending champions Team Boustead and Bank of Singapore (OCBC) on 316.

In fourth place is Edge Golf with 312, followed by Emerio (310), The Crane Boomers (307), Team Citi (303), Swinging Scribes (295) and Team Centurion (288). Rounding out the top 10 is Gayatri with 281. The top-scoring team in the social category for the third round was PwC with 106 stableford points.

Team SunMoon continued to impress at the post-round dinner when team member Tan Teck Lee, who shot a stableford score of 40, was awarded FJ Player of the round sponsored by FootJoy.

As in previous rounds, a number of lucky-draw prizes were given out, including a two-day one-night staycation, with breakfast for two, at the W Hotel sponsored by W Hotel, a one-night weekend stay in a Crystal Club room including breakfast for two at the Grand Park City Hotel sponsored by Park Hotel Group, and a green fee voucher at Laguna Lang Co and spa voucher at Banyan Tree Spa for two sponsored by Laguna Lang Co and Banyan Tree Spa.

The Zwilling 68-piece cutlery set worth S$1,399 sponsored by Yeo Teck Seng went to Christopher Tang, and the Banyan Tree's special draw of a two-night stay-and-play package for two people at Laguna Lang Co sponsored by Banyan Tree was claimed by Emilio Monclus.

The fourth round of the League will be played at Seletar Country Club on Aug 12 (Friday).
