Team SunMoon play catch up
With the highest stableford score of the round, the team is at the top of the league table.
THERE may have been a rain delay during the fifth round of The Business Times Corporate Golf League, but it was all sunshine and smiles for Team SunMoon.
Shooting the highest stableford score of the round (113) on Singapore Island Country Club's New Course, they managed to edge out Team Edge Golf and regain their position at the top of the league table.
With one round remaining and a margin of six points between first and second place, it's going to go down to the wire. Edge Golf's team captain Rick Chan says: "We're going to do the same thing like with every game and just play our best and have fun. We will have a practice round before the game and we also have players that are members of TMCC."
The best social team of the round were Banyan Tree, who scored 92 stableford points. The best individual stableford score golfer was Tan Teck Lee (Team SunMoon) with 40 points.
A number of novelty and lucky draw prizes were given out during the post-round dinner thanks to a number of sponsors which include Banyan Tree, Laguna Phuket, Le Vigne, Yilai and SunMoon.
The final round of the BT Corporate Golf League will be played on Tanah Merah Country Club's Garden Course on Friday, Sept 16.
