COOL and breezy, the weather was perfect for the National Steps Challenge The New Paper Big Walk 2017 yesterday.
At about 7am, the guest of honour, President Halimah Yacob, flagged off the participants, and the Big Walk was on as 10,800 walkers steadily made their way out of the Sports Hub onto Nicoll Highway and past the Singapore Flyer.
The Big Walkers ended their morning with a variety of fun and healthy activities at the carnival back at the Sports Hub. THE NEW PAPER
