Here is how you can catch the Liverpool pre-season friendlies against Leicester City and Bayern Munich
Two pairs of tickets to each game are up for grabs exclusively for The Business Times subscribers
Liverpool FC (LFC) is no stranger to Singapore and their upcoming visit later this month will be their second in two years.
The Reds beat Crystal Palace FC 2-0 to lift the Standard Chartered Singapore Trophy at the National Stadium last year in front of 50,000 fans. Skipper Jordan Henderson scored the opening goal before Mohamed Salah sealed the victory.
Expect the same fanfare when Jurgen Klopp and his men return for not one but two pre-season friendlies plus an open training session soon. The events are part of the inaugural Singapore Festival of Football (SFOF) which kicks off next week.
Fans can expect a mouthwatering clash when the Reds attempt to defend their Standard Chartered Singapore Trophy against Leicester City on July 30. Incidentally, this will be the first Singapore visit for the 2015/2016 Premier League champions and some high-tempo football action can be expected from both English football clubs.
SFOF is set to close with a bang when LFC goes up against six-time European champions FC Bayern Munich on Aug 2 to challenge for the Singapore Trophy, presented by Audi and Standard Chartered.
This will be the first time both sides are facing each other since LFC triumphed 3-1 over Bayern in the 2018/2019 UEFA Champions League round of 16 en route to winning their sixth European title.
