SO now we know what superheroes do on their days off. Fresh from helping to save the world, Captain America discards the spandex suit and dons more conventional attire to take on a much trickier challenge - the type that involves saying "I love you".
Chris Evans, who plays a fresh-faced, old-school superhero in Marvel's current all-conquering comic book blockbuster - now making megabucks in cinemas everywhere - makes the move to fresh-faced, rom-com leading man in Playing it Cool.
This more modest endeavour is not too much of a stretch, and he even recruits a couple of colleagues from the superhero pool. The All-American appeal that Evans evokes in the Marvel series is also evident in Playing it Cool, even if his character - an unnamed writer who also serves as the movie's narrator - is a bit of a commitment-phobic cad.
