A home to call their own
After 16 years living in rented houses all over the world, the Trotters have finally settled into their own home.
LAST September marked a major milestone for Greg and Anna Trotter. "After 16 years living in rented homes around the world, such as in Switzerland, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Singapore, we finally moved into a home that we could call our own," says Mrs Trotter, a housewife and an art consultant with Otomys, a boutique contemporary art gallery.
The couple and their two children, Jack, 12, and Molly, 10, now live in a two-storey home in Leisure Farm Resort in Johor. The house was designed by Carol Bochsler, director of design from the Exhale Group, an award-winning international architecture, interior design, master planning and landscape design firm, with plenty of input from Mrs Trotter.
For their efforts, the 5,539 sq ft home with an additional 2,193 sq ft of alfresco space won the Architecture Single Residence prize, in the Asia-Pacific sector of the International Property Awards.
