If you're planning to watch great theatre next year, you might as well get tickets to the Singapore International Festival of the Arts (SIFA) now. The festival is currently offering 'Super Early Bird' discounts of 25 percent for some of its biggest shows. Among them is Revisor, a dazzling adaptation of Nikolai Gogol's 1823 satire The Government Inspector or, as it's known by its Russian title, Revizor. The play combines theatre and dance to tell the tale of a humble clerk who gets mistaken for a high-ranking inspector. Also among the highlights are The Necessary Stage's The Year Of No Return that looks at the future impact of climate change on human lives, as well as Nine Years Theatre and SITI Company's collaboration on an adaptation of Anton Chekhov's Three Sisters.
