Hotels tap Asian Michelin-level chefs to elevate dining options
FORGET fancy hotel restaurants tied to heavyweight names such as Alain Ducasse or Jean-Georges Vongerichten. International hospitality groups are now collaborating with chefs from Michelin-starred restaurants in Asia to elevate their F&B offerings.
Chefs from existing and shuttered Michelin-starred restaurants in Singapore are among them.
Burnt Ends’ Dave Pynt and Saint Pierre’s Emmanuel Stroobant have hotel projects in the Maldives, Bali and Tokyo. Daniele Sperindio – who closed his namesake Art restaurant at the National Gallery Singapore – and Kenji Yamanaka of the defunct Beni now helm the dining operations for hospitality groups.
