A NIGHT of volunteer appreciation and good-natured competition also saw HSBC raise funds for needy and disadvantaged children on Wednesday, as the bank celebrated two decades of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in Singapore.

Balancing on precariously wobbly Segway vehicles, participants competed to complete as many laps as they could in a relay race, with each lap raising S$1,200 for charity.

Gracing the event was Minister for Social and Family Development (MSF) Tan Chuan-Jin, who led one of the four relay teams in the race.
