CHRISTMAS may be over but the celebrations are just beginning for the local art scene as Singapore Art Week makes up for lost time with its biggest ever show to celebrate its 10th anniversary in mid-January.

Art lovers get to pick from 130 shows featuring works by 600 international artists, in as many diverse locations from shopping malls to Changi chalet and an HDB flat - ensuring that this inclusive art show is accessible to all.

In Design, we visit a home with a purpose-built cocktail bar right in their living room - all the better for the owners to host parties in their home after the 10.30 pm alcohol curfew at restaurants kicks in.

And in Dining Out, we head out to Geylang to check out San Shu Gong, a much-hyped Teochew restaurant, to see what's on the menu.
