IWC Big Pilot's Watch 43 stays true to its roots
It's a dream come true for B-urh fans looking for a sensibly-sized, daily-wear piece that boasts the DNA of the original.
THE IWC Big Pilot's watch Ref 5002 is not easy to pull off if your wrist circumference is average, let alone below average.
Introduced in 2002 and coming in at 46mm, it is not for everybody, to say the least, but that does little to stop even the scrawniest watch collector from giving it a go.
The piece's historical link to the "B-uhr" watches donned by German fighter pilots in the 1940s during World War II is one of the reasons this model is so popular and has become synonymous with IWC Pilot's watch collection.
