Jaguar F-Pace review: Jaguar keeps the F-Pace up

A facelift for Jaguar's best selling car was overdue. Thankfully it got one that kept its designers from the pub

REMEMBER wanting to jump into a car and drive for the heck of it? The Jaguar F-Pace is just the sort of machine to reignite those feelings. Open the door and the scarlet interior practically hoovers you into a bucket seat whose side bolsters can be adjusted to hold you like a lost lover. Meanwhile, the start button pulses enticingly, inviting a jab to bring the big cat to life.

That's a remarkable trait for a sport utility vehicle (SUV), because beyond a certain size those things are passable to drive at best. Excess height and weight make for lousy handling, see, and if you don't believe me, put on some high heels, cradle a bowling ball and see how graceful you feel scuttling around a corner.
