HOUSE-PROUD homeowners would no doubt be familiar with iconic furniture pieces such as the LC2 armchair or the LC4 chaise longue. Despite being introduced nearly a century ago, both pieces are still highly desired because of their timeless appeal.

The two pieces were designed by Le Corbusier, who was not only a renowned furniture designer, but a highly respected architect, painter, sculptor, writer and urban planner.

At the ongoing exhibition, ARCHITECTURE: A Day in the Life of Le Corbusier, visitors get to experience how the internationally recognised luminary, who was born Charles-Edouard Jeanneret-Gris, would spend his day. He would later take on the pseudonym Le Corbusier, an adaptation of his grandfather's last name. The exhibition is part of the ongoing Archifest, a platform for all walks of life to gather and reimagine the design of our city, its architecture and our way of life.
