The Jazz Association Singapore Orchestra (JASSO) commemorates the Bicentennial of Singapore-UK friendship with a special show. Led by Music Director Jeremy Monteiro with Associate Music Director Weixiang Tan, the inaugural Pinnacle Concert will also feature English vocalist Tina May, as well as UK guest musicians Alan Barnes (twice-named BBC Jazz Musician of the Year), trumpeter Henry Lowther (best known for his work with jazz luminary Kenny Wheeler and British jazz icon Johnny Dankworth), and Tom Walsh on lead trumpet. Joining them on stage to perform a repertoire of jazz standards and newly-commissioned compositions - including a piece written by Monteiro with Barnes - are local singers Louis Soliano and Alemay Fernandez.
