Keppel Club membership fraud stuns club fraternity
Probe could involve more than one staff following police report lodged by club's management

BEWILDERMENT gripped the club fraternity which was abuzz over news of police investigations into alleged "phantom" memberships at the 110-year-old Keppel Club.
The phones at Keppel Club were ringing incessantly as members were anxious to find out more details on how such an incident could have possibly happened following The Business Times exclusive on Thursday that the club has been hit by the discovery of over 1,000 phantom accounts allegedly involving the club's staff and related to membership transfers.
