The celebrations began early with a birthday bash at his Graceland home in January and his record company wasted no time announcing a digital release of his albums from the 1960s.
In Singapore, a stamp exhibition titled Return to Sender, named after one his many hits, is now on till July 1 at the Singapore Philatelic Museum; while this long weekend, there will be plenty of hip swivelling on stage at Marina Bay Sands when The Ultimate Tribute to Elvis comes to town for the first time.
