Larger than life
Nineties rock icon Mr Big is soldiering on despite drummer Pat Torpey being diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. He takes on percussion duties and plays on a couple of tracks before Matt Starr takes over. The current line-up is similar to the original formed in 1988 and comprises Torpey, singer Eric Martin, guitarist Paul Gilbert, and bassist Billy Sheehan.
Known for their musical virtuosity, Mr Big is currently touring on the back of their latest album Defying Gravity. Expect to hear tracks off that as well as classics such as Just Take My Heart, Green-Tinted Sixties Mind, as well as their signature smash To Be With You.
Mr Big plays Kallang Theatre on Oct 15 at 7.30pm. Tickets from S$88 to S$178 available from Sistic.
