Leading ladies on the greens
THE eighth edition of the HSBC Women's Champions (HSBC WC) takes place at Sentosa Golf Club in early March, and the Serapong Course's fairways will once again be graced with some of the best women golfers in the world. These include newly crowned world No 1 women's golfer Lydia Ko as well as defending champion Paula Creamer who won with a spectacular 23-metre putt to win the playoff against Azahara Munoz.
To get into the swing of things, the HSBC Golf Hunt will be officially launched on Saturday, Feb 7 at the Welcome to the Clubhouse roadshow happening this weekend at Shaw House. Members of the public can try to find 1,000 golf balls which have been hidden all over Singapore. Each golf ball gives its finder a chance to win a number of prizes, including exclusive Premier Lounge passes to the HSBC Women's Champions 2015, a two day-one night Fairmont Singapore hotel stay with breakfast for two, premium airweave portable bedding toppers worth S$3000, wine, vouchers, dining packages and a golf resort getaway to Thailand.
To get clues to where some of the golf balls are hidden, participants can log on to the HSBC microsite (www.hsbc.com.sg/golfhunt) where clues in the form of a golf-related question will be posted.
