A Lexus Coup

UNTIL the arrival of the RC, Lexus had not had a coupe in its model line-up, which is unusual considering the Japanese luxury brand's sustained success, especially in the US.

Of course, there is the Lexus IS C, but it is actually an IS-Convertible. The Lexus SC from the early 2000s was also an open top model with a rigid roof. Its predecessor, the very first SC from the 1990s, may have been a bona fide coupe but it was also a rebadged Toyota.

Therefore this makes the new Lexus RC the marque's first true coupe, a distinction that is burnished by stunning styling.
